Count the business days in a date range. Weekends come out automatically and you can paste in a list of public holidays, which is usually what turns a rough estimate into a usable delivery or leave figure.
- STEP 1Enter the first and last day of the range.

- STEP 3Press Calculate Working Days.
Both the start and end dates are counted, so Monday to Friday is five working days. Holidays that already fall on a weekend are not deducted twice.

Frequently asked questions
Which days count as the weekend?
Saturday and Sunday. For a Friday-Saturday weekend, add the Fridays in your range to the holiday list.
Are public holidays included automatically?
No. Holidays differ by country and often by region, so you supply the dates that apply to you.
Does a leap day change the count?
Only if 29 February falls on a weekday inside your range, in which case it counts as an ordinary working day.
