Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as a Julian date?
Not quite. Aviation and logistics often call this the Julian day, but the astronomical Julian date is a continuous count running from 4713 BC.
How many days does a year have?
365, or 366 in a leap year. The tool shows the correct total for whichever year you enter.
